It must be very unsettling to know you always have the risk of some clever archaeologist digging up something that destroys the basis of your plot. He has a real knack of bringing Ancient Greece vividly to life, so I'll look forward to reading it. I think those of us writing about the ancient world, where research is important but data is limited, have it easier than people like you who tackle later historical periods - you have almost too much material in the Victorian era, I'd imagine, and it must seem overwhelming sometimes.
